housie housie

So this is where we hang our hats these days.
Our front door - just so enthralled with it because of its period features - Victorian period features? - are everything I'd ever want from a proper little English house.

 And, like, a bay window.
Our street is made up of the same types of houses, all very pretty in their little row. And the street is so quiet.

Inside is a-shambles - boxes everywhere and no idea what to store and what not to (given we look to renovate and do building work in a few months time). So it's all slightly unsettling for a 1x homebody like myself, who likes her house to be just so.

I'm trying to focus on other stuff instead.

Like the fact there's a Waitrose conveniently right oppsoite my tube station. Dangerous and potentially bankrupting, but amazing at the same time.

And my morning work to the tube involves walking through Clapham Common, the park which is across the road from ours.

With Autum on its way, everything is fresh and crisp. It really is the best route to walk to the tube, if you do have a choice of routes:

Quiet English streets, walks through Commonses, sigh. Simply lovely!
